So I’ve heard that Trump can still get kicked out from being President.

Someone who cares to explain the American system to me? I’m really curious!

2. valiantponds said: yeah it’s really fucked up, whoever gets a majority in a state, however slight, gets that whole state, so Trump won more electoral votes even though more people voted for Clinton. that’s only happened a few times. imo the system is crazy outdated and should be thrown out. some people are hoping that they can get the electors to go the other way, like wylvn said. slim chance, but technically legal.

Basically, americans dont vote for the president directly they vote for people called the electoral college and those people vote for the pres. (like the ppl in the college are pledged to vote for one of the candidates) ANYWAY In some states the electoral college must vote for who their pledged to by law but in some states they are allowed to change
